FRP( Fiber Reinforced Polymer)
FRP is a non-metallic material that is not sensitive to electric shock.It is suitable for climatic and environmental areas such as lightning and rain. The optical cable by using FRP strength member can be installed next to power cable or power supply unit and will not be interfered by induced current generated by power cable or power supply unit. Compared with metal strength member, FRP does not affect optical fiber transmission index due to the gas generated by chemical reaction between metal and grease and has advantages of high tensile strength and light weight. FRP strength member optical cable is bulletproof, ant-bite and anti-termite.
